Jesire' Santana Ortiz

Our beloved babygirl, JESIRE’ SANTANNA ORTIZ, 25, of Portales, New Mexico passed away in Lubbock, Texas on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Jesire’ was born May 1, 1986 in Albuquerque, NM to David Garcia and Moria Ortiz. Jesire’ was an Early Head Start Teacher for Portales Public School. She was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Portales. Jesire’ is survived by her parents, David and Moria Garcia; brothers, Dimas Ortiz, Isaias Garcia and Matyias Garcia; sister, Lyric Ortiz all of Portales, NM; Grandparents, Dimas and Jane Ortiz of Moriarty, NM; Godson, Conner Kropf; Godparents, Alfonzo and Delia Ortiz of Moriarty; Tio & Tia Charlie and Monica Gibson; and cousins, Troy & Tory Kropf, Ryan & Crystal Kropf, Kyle Kropf, Seth Gibson, Josh Gibson and Eric & Mary Gibson. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by many. There will be a Rosary recited at 7:00PM on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be David Garcia, Dimas Ortiz, Troy Kropf, Ryan Kropf, Kyle Kropf, and Seth Gibson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaias Garcia, Matyias Garcia and Staniel Bagby.
