Lavina A. Foster

Lavina Anaya Foster, 63, a lifetime resident of the area, passed away Friday March 2, 2012, in Albuquerque, with her loving family beside her. Lavina was born July 10, 1948, in Juan Tomas, NM to Andres and Mary (Brazier) Anaya. Lavina was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. Lavina married Jim Foster February 17, 1968, they have been married 44 years, and Jim survives her of Moriarty, NM. Other survivors include son Eric Foster his wife Karrie and their children Kailyn, Nicolas, Emily and Miley; daughter Sheila Carroll, her husband Keith and their children Brook, Haley and Dakotah; son Allan Foster, his wife Cindy and their children Kaylie, Ethan, Allan Jr., Cody, Justin, and Lahna; and numerous extended family members and close family friends. Lavina was preceded in death by her Parents, and several brothers and sisters. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, March 6, 2012—7:30 PM and the Mass will be celebrated Wednesday March 7, 2012—10:00 AM both at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM, with Rev. Fr. Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers Doris, Sylvia, Thelma, Brenda, Andy and Pete
