Michael B. Laing

Michael Bernard Laing, 70, of Manzano, NM, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2012, at his home in Manzano, with his loving wife at his side. Michael was born January 3, 1942 in Seattle, WA, to Bernard and June Marie (Kirkpatrick) Laing. Michael married Susannah G. Gavin, February 14, 1991. He was a member of Saint Alice Catholic Parish, Our Lady of Sorrows Mission in Manzano, NM. Michael is survived by his loving wife Susannah Gavin-Laing; two sons, Michael George and his wife Patty, and Patrick and his wife Alice; one daughter June Marie and her husband Eric Bloedorn; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Michael will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A rosary will be recited Friday March 2, 2012—7:00 PM and Holy Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 3, 2012—11:00 AM, both at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Mission in Manzano, NM with Father Fernando Saenz celebrant. Burial of his ashes will follow Wednesday March 7, 2012 9:30AM at the Campo Santo Cemetery up on the hill in Manzano. Pallbearers will be Fred Otero, Frank Luna, Willie Candelaria, Juan Pereira, Fidel Chavez and Fidel Lovato
