Ethel May Cain

ETHEL MAY CAIN, 87, of Moriarty, New Mexico peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, February 24, 2012. Ethel was born May 25, 1924 in Abernathy, Texas to Thomas M. and Susie (Dickerson) Cain. She had lived in Moriarty, NM since 1948, having previously lived in Torreon, NM. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, RB Marchbanks Sr. who was a casualty of WWII and her second husband, John Ross Thompson who served in WWII; son, RB Marchbanks Jr. who was a casualty of Vietnam War; daughter, Susie D. Marchbanks; brothers, Walter Cain, Albert Cain, and Jimmy Cain; and sisters, Inez Reeves, Pearl Cashen and Ruby Brooks. She is survived by her sons, John Thompson and his wife Debbie, Virgil Thompson Sr. and his wife Kay; daughter, Ethel Tuey and her husband Richard; brothers, Bill Cain and Henry Cain; sister, Daisy Dawson and sister-in-law Jean Cain; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
