George C. Lorigo

GEORGE C. LORIGO, 87, of McIntosh, New Mexico passed away January 25, 2012 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. George was born April 23, 1924 in Compton, California to Andres and Maria (Carasco) Lorigo. George had lived in McIntosh for the past twenty-six years having previously lived in Albuquerque NM. George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carmen Sanchez Lorigo; son, Daniel Silva; and brothers, Alex, Richard, Andrew and Raul Lorigo. He is survived by sons, Sandy Lorigo, Ernest Silva and his wife Polly, Harold Silva, Johnny Silva and his wife Carmen, Ricky Silva and his wife Jill, Jerry Sanchez and Priscilla Rangel, and Greggory Shuman; daughters, Gloria Nuanez, Gloria Gutierrez and her husband Ray, Anna Drennen and her husband Paul, Arcelia Sanchez and Jimmy Bryant; sister, Gloria Villicana and her husband Alex; thirty-two grandchildren and fifty-three great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary recited on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 7:00PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Robert Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow the Service at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be Orlando Sanchez, Chris Sanchez, Matthew Sanchez, Allen Silva, Troy Silva, and Edward Silva. Honorary Pallbearers will be Arthur Silva, Tyrell Frame, James Gambling and Brian Bonney.
