John "Glenn" Williams

JOHN “GLENN” WILLIAMS, 89, of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 23, 2012. Glenn was born in Pine Grove, New Mexico on May 25, 1922 to Hiram and Georga Frances (King) Williams. He was a lifetime resident of Edgewood. Glenn married Clara Morrow on November 24, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2006. Glenn was also preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jimmy Clements; brothers, Carl Rice Williams and Lloyd K. Williams; and sisters, Opal Bassett and Fern Dunn. He is survived by his sons Harold Glenn Williams of Edgewood, NM and David Williams and his wife, Barbara of Rock Springs, WY; daughters Gloria Clements and her husband Bob of Edgewood, NM and Sharon Ruth Abrahamson and her husband Ken of Cleveland, OH; brother, Wilks “Billy” Leon Williams; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and six grand-grand grandchildren. There will be a viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 9:00am. A Grave Side Service will be held at the Williams Ranch Cemetery at 3:00pm on Friday, January 27, 2012 with Elder Conway Woods officiating.
