Frank Boyd Dennisson

FRANK BOYD DENNISSON, 73, of Stanley, New Mexico, was delivered from this life into the glory of eternal life by his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2012. Frank was born on April 30, 1938 in Santa Fe, NM to Pearl and Mildred Dennison. He graduated from Stanley High School in 1956, and joined the Navy shortly thereafter. After serving four years in the Navy, Frank returned to New Mexico, spending most of his life living and working as a water well driller in Stanley. Frank always remembered a good joke and loved telling them to friends and strangers alike. He was passionate about the word of God and never tired of reading or sharing it with those he encountered. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Frank Boyd Dennison Jr. and Kevin Duane Dennisson; and his grandson Christopher Duane Tapia. Frank is survived by his wife Ethel (Tippy) Dennisson of Stanley; children Sheri (Alan) Vaughn of Bloomfield, Lynn (Paul) Tapia of Moriarty, Kathy (Keith) Harper of Farmington, Bill Dennisson of Stanley, Wayne Dennisson of Bloomfiled, Tim (Ann) Dennison of Elmendorf, TX; grandchildren Daniel Vaughn of Bloomfield Nathan (Misty) Vaughn of Farmington, Aaryn (Matt) Marquez of Bloomfield, Bradley (Rachel) Dennisson of Edgewood, Brandon (Dixie) Dennisson of Dale TX, Kate Tapia of Moriarty, Joshua Mauzy, Benjamin Mauzy, Marianna Mauzy all of Bloomfield, Kevin and Kyla Dennisson of Stanley, Brittney Dennisson of Modesto, CA, Cody Dennisson of Edgewood, Jenna Dennisson of Moriarty, Phillip, Brisco, and Frank Dennisson, all of Elmendorf, TX; fifteen great-grandchildren; siblings Birdie (Bill) Harkleroad of Stanley, Perla (Jim) Morton of Cedar Edge, CO, Calvin (Carol) Dennisson of Loganville, GA, Scott (Sherry) Dennison of Moriarty, and Sylvia (Bob) Burns of Greeneville, TN. There will be a viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Stanley Union Church in Stanley, NM with Pastor John Nash officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Vaughn, Ben Mauzy, Phillip Bunnell, Kevin Dennisson, Cody Dennisson and Frank Dennisson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Dennisson, Scott Dennison, Calvin Dennisson, Don King, Sam King, Bill Larson, Nick Gutierrez and Marvin Hunter. Burial will follow the service at the Stanley Cemetery in Stanley, New Mexico. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
