Benita G. Lovato

BENITA G. LOVATO, 96, of Los Lunas, NM peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Benita was born on August 11th, 1914 in Chilili, NM to Santiago and Isabellita (Garcia) Gutierrez. Benita lived in Los Lunas for the past four years having previously lived most of her life in Mountainair, NM. Benita was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Isabellita Gutierrez and her husband Jose Luis Lovato who passed away in 1984. She is survived by her sons, Timoteo Lovato and his wife Anna of Ontero, CA and Levi D. Lovato of Los Lunas, NM; daughter, Isabel Sandoval and her husband Juan of Albuquerque, NM; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. There will be a Rosary on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 10:15am; followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM with Fr. Ron Stone officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Otero, Bobby Otero, Pat Chavez, Leroy Candelaria, Jimmy Baros, Isaiah Chavez and Elijah Chavez. Honorary Pallbearer will be and Juan Sandoval. Burial will follow the Mass at the Mountainair Catholic Cemetery in Mountainair, NM.
