RODNEY BRUCE KREUTZIAN, (aka Papa Gun) of Edgewood, NM, left this mortal existence at the age of sixty-three on the evening of July 15, 2011. He was surrounded by his beautiful wife Vikki and their four loving children, Kim, Thomas, Tara and Eric. His life began in the small town of Amery, WI on September 7, 1947 to Richard and Agnes Kreutzian. He was the oldest of three children. Rodney and his brothers, David and Dennis grew up working on their family dairy farm in Balsam Lake, WI. After graduating high school he attended a vocational college, learned carpentry and eventually enlisted in the United States Air Force. At the age of twenty, while stationed at Hill Air Force Base, he met his eternal companion Vikki Harrison. They shared forty-three years of life, love and laughter. While balancing a career and family, Rod graduated from Weber State University in Utah with a degree in Logistics. His Civil Service career included Norad, NASA, DTRA, DNA, and other classified assignments. For the past seven years Rod has enjoyed employment with TPL in Albuquerque and the awesome work crew. Rod and Vikki’s journey included four children, three grandchildren, many moves, great friends and unforgettable moments. He was passionate about his family, grandchildren, and hunting. He was admired and loved, and will be greatly missed. Rod is survived by wife, Vikki; daughter, Kimberlie Kreutzian of Albuquerque, NM; son, Thomas (Melissa) of Tijeras, NM; daughter, Tara Rock (Fred Lovingier) of St. Louis, MO; son, Eric Kreutzian of Jackson Hole, WY; brothers, Dave Kreutzian (Barb) of Maple Grove MN. Dennis Kreutzian of Knoxville, TN; grandkids, Gage Rock, Trosper and Rainey Kreutzian; and nephew, Derek Kreutzian. A viewing will take place Wednesday July 20, from 6-8pm and Thursday July 21, 8-9am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 18 County Road 7, Edgewood, NM, 87015. Funeral Services will begin at 9:00am following Thursday morning viewing. Rod will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 12:45pm.
