Lura Ellen Klein

LURA ELLEN KLEIN, 73, of Moriarty, NM peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, July 08, 2011. Ellen was born on March 28, 1938 in Demitt, Texas to Grady and Nancy (Galloway) McNabb. Ellen had lived in Moriarty since 1952 having previously lived in Fence Lake, NM. She married Tom Klein on June 6, 1959 in Albuquerue, NM. Ellen was a member of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish. She and Tom attended weekly Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty. She was a member of the Moriarty Historical Society and the Civitan Club, she sold fruit cakes for them at Christmas. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Nancy NcNabb; brother, Grady McNabb and sister Nellie. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty two years, Tom Klein of Moriarty, NM; sons, Thomas Klein and his wife Keri of Cambridge, MN, James Klein and his wife Ramona of Moriarty, NM; daughters, Theresa Duran and her husband Floyd of Albuquerque, NM, Kathy Montoya and her husband Chris of El Paso, TX and Margie Klein of Moriarty, NM.; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 9:00AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be Michael Duran, Aaron Klein, David Duran, Adam Klein, Christopher Montoya, and Grady Klein. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thor Klein, Juan Crosby, John Martens, Jose Mercado, Dehaven Hudson, and ALL other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial of cremains will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM.
