Loraine Burns

LORAINE BURNS, 90, of Estancia, New Mexico, passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Loraine was born on November 18, 1920 in Maverick, OK to Fred and Josephine (Hatch) Caudill. Mrs. Burns was a lifetime resident of Estancia, NM. She married Ben Burns, who preceded her in death in 2005, on December 13, 1938 in Reserve, NM. She was a member of the Valley Helpers Extinction Club and a Ewing Community reporter for the Citizen Newspaper. Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Neil Burns. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Brown and her husband Adron of Estancia, NM, D’Aun Morris and her husband Raymond of Torreon, NM and daughter-in-law, Donna J. Burns of Belen, NM; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
