JACQUELINE SUE ANAYA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Sunday, June 12, 2011. Jackie, as she was known to family and friends, was born on September 2nd 1944 in Champagne, Illinois the second youngest of six children born to Luther and Helen Reynolds. Jackie was a longtime resident of Edgewood, NM after living in Albuquerque, Texas and Illinois. She worked at the El Comedor Restaurant for many years and had a smile for every child when she served as a lunch lady at Moriarty Middle School. She married John Anaya, her loving husband of 37 years on June 7th 1974 in Las Cruses NM. Jackie was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her husband John; two sisters Karen and Sandy; brother Jerry; three sons, James, Lee and Johnny; numerous nieces and nephews; four grandchildren, Daniel, Nikki, Tryston and Raejin. She was the heart of her family and she loved them all faithfully and passionately. She was beloved of family and friends and will be remembered for her many kindnesses. There will be a memorial service at Mountain Valley Church on Thursday, June 16th at 5:00 PM, it is open to the public and anyone who wants to join her family in honoring and celebrating the life of this amazing woman.
