Michael Steven Torres

MICHAEL STEVEN TORRES, 52, of Mountainair, New Mexico passed away at his home on Thursday, April 07, 2011. Michael was born on July 28, 1958 in Mountainair, New Mexico to Miguel and Delfina (Maldonado) Torres. Michael was a lifetime resident of Mountainair. He married Rosalina M. Ornelas in September of 1992. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Johnny and James Torres. He is survived by his wife, Rosalina M. Ornelas-Torres; daughter, Margaret Torres; brothers, Daniel Torres and his wife Annabelle, Charles Maldonado and his wife Carol, and Lawrence Mora; and sister, Therisa Torres all of Mountainair, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Rosary at 10:00am followed by Mass at 11:00am at St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 with Rev. Fr. Ron Stone officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at the Mountainair Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Torres, Charles Maldonado, Lawrence Mora, Miguel Lovato, Edward Padilla, and Daniella Torres. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Maldonado, Willie Maldonado, Marie Torres and Molly Torres.
