Norine M. Liston

Norine M. Liston, 98, of Tijeras, NM passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Friday, February 4, 2011. Norine was born in Petty, TX on December 25, 1912 to Fred and Nola Mary (Carlton) McDowell. She was a longtime resident of Tijeras, NM. She had an Associates Degree and was a substitute school teacher and Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Norine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Blake J. Liston who preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by her son, Jerry B. Liston, his wife Mary and their son Stephen S. Liston of Tijeras, NM. There will be a Grave Side Service on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Mountain Valley Cemetery with Brother John Emery officiating and Rev. Joseph Eastman assisting.
