Debbie Ann Terry

Debbie Terry, 49, of Torreon, NM passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, January 20, 2011. Deborah Ann was born on April 15, 1961 in Midland, TX to George W. and Rhea Terry. Debbie had lived in Torreon for the past 24 years. She married Wasyl Kopczuk in July of 1981. Debbie worked as a Supervisor Technical Support for Cricket Corporation. She was a graduate of University of New Mexico as a Phi Beta Kappa. Debbie, a gifted athlete, was a member of two El Dorado Eagle State Girls Basketball Championship teams. She touched many lives with her boundless optimism, always looking on the bright side of life. She wore many hats, teacher, forest service ranger, community mom, community organizer, school bus driver, H.R. manager, and so much more. Debbie is survived by her parents, George W. and Rhea Terry of Dallas, TX; husband, Wasyl “Willie” Kopczuk of Torreon, NM; son, Ivan Terry Kopczuk and his wife Shannon of Bothell, WA; daughter, Katia Irene Kopczuk and Elias Saenz of Albuquerque, NM; second son, Michael Baguskis; second daughter, Crystal Tino; brother, David Terry and his wife Mary Hasak; sister, Nan Terry; three grandchildren, Eliyah, Nevaeh and Savannah Rhea Saenz; nephew, nieces and cousins. We will celebrate her life with a Memorial Viewing on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
