Arlene Miller Mccomb

Arlene Miller McComb, a resident of the East Mountains, went to be with her Lord December 25, 2010. She was born to Joseph and Irene Miller; August 16, 1925 in New Castle, Penn. At an early age her parents moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. January 1949 she married Lewis C. McComb Sr. Arlene was a member of Forest Meadow Baptist Church. She will be long remembered for the many cards she gave to others, for baby blankets she made for the new babies and for gracious hospitality to those who visited her home. Arlene is survived by her husband, Lewis McComb of Edgewood, NM; son, Lewis C. McComb Jr. and his wife Dora of Fountain, Co; daughter, Sally E. Rogers and her husband Jesse J. of Moriarty, NM; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Lawrence Jackie. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The Service will be at Forest Meadow Baptist Church at # 54 Hwy. 217, Tijeras, NM on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10:00AM with Thomas A. Lambert officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark McComb, Roy Dale McComb, Dwight Lambert, Richard Pollay, Gary Kelton, and Clifford Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark McComb Jr. and Paul W. McComb III. The burial will be at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Barton, NM. There will be a reception after the burial at the Forest Meadow Baptist Church.
