Margaret Jeannette Milligan, 85, of Moriarty, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday, December 17, 2010. Margaret was born in Encino, New Mexico on January 12, 1925 to Albert and Jewell (Salmon) Corvin. Mrs. Milligan was a lifetime resident of the Estancia Valley. She attended school in Stanley, New Mexico. She married Arthur Neel Milligan, her beloved spouse of 45 years, in Albuquerque, NM on November 26, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1990. She was a member of the Moriarty Church of Christ and the Stanley Union Church. Mrs. Milligan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Milligan; son, Michael Milligan; great grandson, Tyler Markel; and two brothers, Orman Corvin and Sam Corvin. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Bounds and her husband John of Moriarty, NM and Patricia Brock and her husband Troy of Aztec, New Mexico; brother, Hormer Corvin and his wife Phyllis of Stanley, New Mexico; sisters, Lois Waldon and her husband George of Weatherford, TX and Doris Whitehead of Lubbock, TX; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM from 4:00 to 6:00PM. The Funeral Service will be at the Stanley Union Church in Stanley, New Mexico on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00PM with Pastor John Nash officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Chris Corvin, Ronnie Corvin, Nicholas Corvin, Jacob Corvin, Troy Brock and Johnny Bounds. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clinton Bounds, John Bounds and Steve Steele.
