Christine Eleanor Garcia

Christine Eleanor Garcia, 59, passed away on February 21, 2020. She was born on October 16, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Christine was a lifetime resident of New Mexico. She was a board member at Bethel Storehouse and head of the children’s church at Victory Faith Fellowship. Christine will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Amelia Garcia; daughter in law, Julie Garcia; grandson, Nicolas Garcia and father in law, Jose Garcia. She is survived by her mother, Sylvia Pohl; husband, Joe B. Garcia; sons, Matthew Garcia, Joe S. Garcia, Jerry Garcia and wife Jeannette, Jessie Garcia and wife Bernadette and Jimmy Garcia and wife Leandra; brothers, Anthony Lucero and Daniel Marsh and sisters, Judy Romero and Eva Lopez. Christine was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:30 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Pastor Dianna Bushnell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Matthew Garcia, Joe S. Garcia, Jerry Garcia, Jessie Garcia, Jimmy Garcia and Paul Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Marsh, Kevin Bushnell, Mateo Garcia and Luis Garcia. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico.
