LUCIANO TAFOYA, 79, of Edgewood, New Mexico peacefully passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Luciano was born December 16, 1933 in Escobosa, NM to Benjamin and Frances Tafoya. Luciano was a longtime resident of Edgewood. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Frances Tafoya; wife Kathy Tafoya; son Freddy Tafoya; brother Alfredo Tafoya and two sisters Louisa Muller and Eduvigen Baca. He is survived by his sons Steven Tafoya of Albuquerque, Benjamin Tafoya and his wife Maryann of Rio Rancho, Herman Tafoya and his wife Cathy of Albuquerque, and Victor Tafoya of Houston, TX; daughters Helen Casaus of Albuquerque, Gloria Baldwin and her husband Ralph of Albuquerque, Frances Cawthon and her husband Jamie of Glendale, AZ, Molly Tafoya and her husband Ricky of Moriarty and Mary Tafoya and her husband John of Edgewood; brother Santiago Tafoya; sister Maria Baca; and 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM at 11:00AM.
