GAYLAND D. GOAR, 70, a lifetime resident of Mountainair, New Mexico passed away in Mountainair on July 16, 2012. Gayland was born September 30, 1941 in Mountainair to Willie Ras and Hattie Bell (Gray) Goar. Gayland was a rancher. He married Nelda Satathite, on January 27, 1979. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Darnell Goar, and wife Nelda. Gayland is survived by his children (ex-wife Rita Thomas) - sons, Kevin D. Goar and his wife Brenda of Grand Junction, CO and Carroll Goar of Houston, TX; daughter, Vanessa Sciacca of Houston, TX; brother, Dairl Goar of Mountainair; sister, Patsy Fitzgerald of Mountainair; and seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, July 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Mountainair in Mountainair, NM.
