EULA “LOUISE” ALLEN, 88, of Edgewood, New Mexico passed away at her home on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Louise was born May 26, 1924 in Wright City, Oklahoma to William Ted Springfield and Dora Lee Holmes. Louise has lived in Edgewood, NM since 1972 having previously lived in Albuquerque, NM. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moriarty. She married Charles Neal Allen May 26th, 1942 in Oklahoma, he preceded her in death on August 2nd, 2005. Louise was a seamstress and drapery maker. She was a member of the Over the Mountain Quilters Guild and the Friends of the Library Quilting Club. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother, Mada Springfield, who was a big part of her life; brothers, Leroy Springfield and Tommy Springfield; sister, Linda Reed and great-granddaughter, Kourtney Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry L. Dann; son, Harold N. Allen and his wife, Michaela; daughter, Judy A. Presley and husband, Glynn; sister, Evelyn Allen; brother, Ted Springfield, Jr.; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM at 5:00PM with Pastor Tom Schank officiating. Pallbearers will be Glynn Presley, Rusty Presley, Kenneth N. Allen and Daniel Wright. Final Disposition will be on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 9:00AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
